So long marianne ~ Leonard Cohen

Yay! Finally getting around to posting my Amsterdam photos! & guess what! I loved it so much I'm going back at the end of February if I can get the time off work!

Here are some photos of just wandering around the pretty city! I nearly got run over by cyclists & trams every time I walked out onto the street! So take out Health Insurance for sure if you go!

Its a lovely place full of culture & architecture but I will say this now, It's just not a place for kids! In my naivete I thought the red light district was down an alley way hidden from view, until I walked past a building to have an almost nude girl asking if I wanted to come inside! Lets just say I lost points off my guy friends for saying no haha!

There are sex shops & museums on every corner & not to mention cafes & drug stores advertising bongs & magic mushrooms, pretty cool but very excessive!

I almost fell in a canal twice & was paranoid about sleeping in a Hostel after seeing the film! I had a great time but I wish I had taken more photos! But when you're being rushed about by your lad friends its kinda hard! Hopefully next time I will have some more time to myself!

So this is kinda photo heavy!

Noord, Amsterdam 15/18.12.12

{On the plane. It took an hour}

{Schiphol Airport, One of the largest in the world I think?}

{Yes I instagrammed my ticket :') Im sentimental like that}

{First photo of Amsterdam}

{Febo is a vending machine. A whole shop where the walls are full of mini microwaves where you put in your euro & get candy, drinks & even steaming hot burgers & fries. Think of Mcdonalds as a giant vending machine haha}

{View from my Hostel}

{Dam square}

{The architecture is fantastic!}

{Seriously, this was a great laugh!}

{There were pastry shops everywhere! Full of sweets & gorgeous pastries! & of course waffles! The waffles were amazing but I don't think they will ever beat the ones I had in Belgium when I was a kid haha}

{Yes I went to a coffee shop!}

{Trams are lethal!}

{Before I went I downloaded an App on my Iphone called Touchnote where you take a picture then turn it into a postcard & they send it for you. All for £1.49 so I sent a few to my friends & family}

{I know, so cliche, but I couldn't leave without some clogs! These ones were pretty snazzy & I will keep them forever}

Hope you all have a good day!
