An hour by the lake

Last sunday Matt & I had a whole hour together. The sun was blazing & the air was muggy & smelled of freshly cut grass. We decided to get changed & grab some cold ciders & sit down by the lake until we had to go back to work.

The lake is called Lymore & is just behind our house situated in the middle of a blanket of fields full of nosey sheep. Unfortunately the lake is pretty gross so you can't swim in it, if it was clear water I'd be straight in there to cool off! Also the lake is home to Monty the swan who is a local legend & does not like to share his lake with humans. Luckily he was chilling on the other side of the lake.

We are thinking of leaving this place soon. Hopefully somewhere more exotic, I'm excited but I can't help but feel like I am taking all this green scenery & peace for granted.
