Ireland:: Part 4

As our trip was coming to an end, I could feel myself getting attatched to the routine of waking up, getting coffee & a pastry & then playing tourist for the day.

I usually avoid touristy "must see places" as I can find them overwhelming & not very enjoyable, but as I have been to Ireland a few times as a wee girl to all the coasts & such I thought it only fair that I let Matt do what he wants haha!

After breakfast, we decided to go to the Jameson Distillery.

We decided to book a tour & go grab a coffee in the bar.

Hands down they served THE BEST Irish coffee I have ever tasted here. It was perfect!

We were then taken on our tour by a hilarious Polish lady, She was fantastic but vanished at the end before I could get her name & thank her!

She led us all around the distillery telling us tales of Jameson himself & how he founded his famous smooth whiskey.

I then was picked to do a whiskey tasting where I had to compare a scotch, & Jack Daniels to Jameson. I love whiskey so this was right up my street.

& I was then given a certificate for it. I am a professional alcoholic now haha.

We then ventured over to the museum pf Ireland as my boyfriend wanted to know a bit more about the place but it turned out to be all on archaeology.

After a few hours of the museum, I wanted to visit Stephens Green. I used to come to this park when I was younger so it was strange to see it the same after so many years.

Last but not least we went off in search of the famous Molly Malone statue (a fishmonger who was famous for selling cockles & mussels & liked to display her assets by the look of it, she died very young of a fever. She is the subject of many a pub song we discovered!)

So our trip came to an end & I was ready to go home & treat my four day hangover in bed with coffee & Netflix. I'm hoping for a sunny beach holiday next year! Any ideas?
